1. What We Collect

When you use ArborBuddy, we collect:

• Account data — name, email, company name (via WorkOS)
• Usage data — actions taken within the dashboard (lead creates, email sends, estimate views)
• Lead data — customer names, addresses, and job details that you enter into the platform
• Payment data — processed exclusively by Stripe. We store only Stripe customer and subscription IDs, never raw card data.

2. How We Use It

• To operate and improve the ArborBuddy platform
• To send transactional emails on your behalf (estimates, follow-ups, seasonal campaigns)
• To generate AI insights using Workers AI (data is not used to train models)
• To provide aggregated, anonymous pricing benchmarks (see §4)

3. Data Storage

All data is stored in a schema-isolated Neon Postgres database hosted in AWS us-west-2. Each account's data is stored in a separate database schema to ensure tenant isolation. Cloudflare R2 is used for photo and video storage.

4. Anonymous Benchmarks

ArborBuddy may use aggregated, fully anonymized data — such as average service prices by zip code — to power the pricing benchmark feature. No personally identifiable information or customer data is included in benchmark calculations.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Export all of your data at any time via your account settings
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Opt out of non-transactional emails at any time

6. Third-Party Services

ArborBuddy integrates with:

• WorkOS — authentication and user management
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Cloudflare — edge hosting, storage, and DDoS protection
• Mapbox — geocoding for address-based features
• National Weather Service (NWS) — public weather data for storm alerts
